Description:

  • Join GitLab as a Staff Backend Engineer on the Security Factory: Code Scanning team to help developers identify and fix security issues in their code.
  • Shape the technical direction for the static analysis engine, overseeing both engine modeling and evaluation tooling.

Requirements:

  • Experience with LLM tooling and determining output trustworthiness.
  • Proficient in Rust, Go, or similar systems languages, with a strong background in program and static analysis.
  • Deep application security knowledge, including vulnerability research and secure code review.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly and mentor engineers.
