Remote System Engineer (REF5357O)

Description:

• Consulting in the area of WebSphere infrastructure on zOS/Mainframe.
• Support and administration of IBM WebSphere, including WebSphere Application Server Liberty on z/OS.
• Technical planning for deploying new application releases on WAS according to ITIL.
• Support and technical consulting for applications in troubleshooting or implementing adjustments and extensions.
• Administration of applications across various WebSphere profiles on z/OS.
• Enhancement and creation of scripts to support operations within the project.

Requirements:

• Operating Systems: Windows, Unix (basic knowledge of command line and GUI).
• Experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server (Classic, Liberty), Apache, Tomcat.
• Familiarity with Version Control Systems (CVS, Subversion).
• Development Environments: IBM Rational Software Development Platform, Eclipse, NetBeans.
• Certifications: IBM Certified System Administrator – WebSphere Application Server, ITIL V4 Foundation.
• Databases: Oracle DB, IBM DB2, MySQL.
• Programming Languages: Java, J2SE (JSP, JSPF, JSTL), PHP, Smarty, SQL, HTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Perl, Shell/Bash, SED, AWK, Python.
• Methods/Technologies: IBM WebSphere Classic and Liberty, DB2, Unix scripting, Bash, z/OS / 3270, Java/XML, RACF.
