Description:

Review vehicle variants in customer projects for compliance with product safety regulations, standards, and guidelines.
Create documentation to demonstrate compliance with product safety obligations.
Analyze and assess safety-related requirements and activities from the proposal phase.
Identify applicable laws, standards, and guidelines.
Advise projects and define safety objectives.
Prepare safety documentation for projects.
Coordinate safety-related verification and validation activities (V&V).
Conduct system safety-related reviews, audits, and assessments (internal and external).
Monitor the implementation and compliance with safety-related requirements.
Develop internal safety-related processes, templates, and checklists.
Evaluate compliance with product safety obligations and report to the product safety officer.

Requirements:

Completed technical degree (TU/FH) or equivalent training in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or automotive.
Significant professional experience in system safety, preferably in the automotive sector.
Strong knowledge of safety standards (e.g., IEC 61508, ISO 26262).
Proficiency in hazard and risk analysis methods (FMEA, FTA).
High understanding of requirements management.
Familiarity with IBM Doors and APIS Pro.
Good understanding of product development processes.
Systematic knowledge of project planning and project management.
