MoonPay is a leading infrastructure company in Web3, focused on onboarding the world to this unique technology.
The Product Security team is dedicated to fortifying systems through rigorous security reviews and hands-on penetration testing.
Responsibilities include conducting threat modeling, supporting penetration testing activities, managing the Bug Bounty program, and implementing Web Application Firewalls (WAFs).
The role involves collaborating with development teams to integrate security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
The team actively researches emerging security threats and develops effective mitigation strategies.
The position requires delivering security training and maintaining up-to-date security standards and documentation.
Incident response activities, including investigation and remediation, are also part of the role.

Requirements:

Candidates should have experience across multiple security domains, including application, infrastructure, cloud, and mobile security.
A strong understanding of Threat Modeling principles and their application in secure software development is essential.
Hands-on experience with penetration testing methodologies and tools is required.
Previous experience with WAF configuration and management, particularly with Cloudflare, is preferred.
Proficiency in Javascript and Typescript programming languages is necessary.
Candidates should be self-motivated and able to work effectively in a remote setting while maintaining a team-focused mindset.
A background in disruptive technology, particularly in FinTech, SaaS, or Crypto, is advantageous.
Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, OSCP, CEH) are a plus but not mandatory.
A good understanding of cryptography and its applications is important.
Contributions to the security community through open source, CTFs, or speaking engagements are valued.
