Description:

As a Product Care Application Engineer, you will focus on the technical support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of existing battery system products.
You will act as a key interface between engineering, production, service, and customers to ensure product stability, quality, and customer satisfaction throughout the product lifecycle.
Your responsibilities include developing and maintaining documentation such as technical specifications, user manuals, and training materials in collaboration with Systems, PM, and Marketing.
You will identify, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in customer environments, providing 2nd-level support.
Conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and providing structured feedback to engineering and quality teams will be part of your role.
You will ensure proper reporting of activities and customer feedback to engineering and sales.
Ensuring strict adherence to procedures during installation and/or modification of equipment is essential.
You will provide technical consultancy for existing products, addressing claims, production issues, and field failures.
Performing hands-on work to address technical claims and support production-related problem-solving will be required.
You will support change management and continuous improvement initiatives for released products.
Collaborating with internal teams such as production, quality, and service to ensure product reliability and compliance is necessary.

Requirements:

A degree in engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a similar field is required.
You must have a strong technical understanding of battery systems and their applications.
Experience in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and product support is essential.
A hands-on mentality and structured problem-solving skills are necessary for this position.
Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach are required.
You should be willing to work cross-functionally and occasionally travel to customer or production sites.
