Description:

Join Thumbtack's Cybersecurity Team to enhance application security as the company scales and integrates AI features.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to embed security into systems and workflows, ensuring innovation without compromising security.

Requirements:

4+ years of experience in software engineering and/or application security.
Practical knowledge of application security techniques (threat modeling, secure design patterns, etc.) and understanding of OWASP Top 10 risks.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to assess security risks and make recommendations.
Excellent communication skills to explain security issues to diverse engineering teams.
Growth mindset with a desire to learn from senior engineers in application and cloud infrastructure security.

Competitive salary range of $118,200.00 - $152,900.00 for candidates in Ontario and British Columbia.
