Remote Backend Engineer, Content-API (Go/React)

Description:

• Join AMBOSS as a Backend Engineer to shape the future of medical education.
• Work on the ContentAPI Team to build and operate a high-performance content delivery system for web and mobile applications.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of professional backend engineering experience in Go (or Rust).
• Strong fundamentals in API design, data modeling, and relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Familiarity with GraphQL, event-driven architectures, or stream/batch processing.
• Ability to write clean, testable code with meaningful test coverage.
• Capability to solve ambiguous problems with light guidance.
• Curiosity about system functionality and a desire for continuous improvement.
• Nice-to-have: Exposure to code generation, observability, and cloud infrastructure (AWS).
