Remote Cloud Engineer

Description:

• Support a federal client requiring US citizenship for Public Trust eligibility.
• Focus on architecting resilient cloud environments, driving modernization efforts, and ensuring cloud security and compliance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering or architecture roles.
• Hands-on experience with AWS (EKS, EC2, RDS, S3) and exposure to Azure.
• Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Ansible).
• Understanding of cloud networking, compute, storage, IAM, and security best practices.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (NIST, FedRAMP, FISMA, etc.).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
