Description:

  • Toptal seeks a Data Analytics Engineer to enhance business impact through data-driven decision making.
  • The role involves maintaining the data transformation layer, ensuring data governance, and collaborating with Data Engineers and Business Analysts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; 4+ years in Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, or Data Analyst roles.
  • Expert-level SQL skills, working knowledge of Python, and experience with cloud data warehousing (BigQuery or Snowflake).
  • Familiarity with LLMs, agentic coding tools, and modern transformation frameworks (dbt, Dataform).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
