Remote Database Developer (Contractor) - MNSITE-3762

Description:

• RESPEC is seeking an experienced Database Developer for a contract role supporting the Minnesota Department of Information Technology Services (MNIT) and the Minnesota Department of Corrections.
• The role involves modernizing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise database solutions for transactional applications and reporting platforms.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in database development or data engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL development, ETL development (SSIS, Python, PySpark), and database performance tuning.
• Experience with data migration, cleansing, transformation, and validation, as well as data modeling and integration practices.
• Familiarity with SSRS and Power BI for reporting solutions.
• Preferred experience in government, financial, or legal environments, and knowledge of DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins).
