As a DevOps Engineer (m/w/d) at Breuninger in the IT Operations area, you will shape the future of our IT infrastructure between data centers and the cloud, as well as between operations and development.
You will be responsible for automation, platform stability, and the secure operation of modern applications in a highly diverse technological environment.
You will develop and operate infrastructure components, platform services, and automation solutions in the context of IT Operations.
You will design CI/CD environments and ensure a stable and secure deployment process.
You will ensure that our systems are observable and reliable through active monitoring, logging, and alerting.
You will work closely with other areas to implement new requirements and further develop existing services.
Depending on your focus, you will contribute to one or more of the following areas: Kubernetes management, Infrastructure as Code, virtualization, storage, identity services, or platform operations.
Requirements:
You have solid experience in the field of DevOps or IT Operations.
You are familiar with tools such as Kubernetes, GitLab, Terraform, Ansible, or Prometheus.
Ideally, you have knowledge in areas such as virtualization (KubeVirt, VMWare), storage (NetApp, Ceph), or directory services (Active Directory).
You enjoy working in a structured manner, automating repetitive tasks, and have a high quality standard for your work.
You communicate confidently in both German and English.
