Remote Internal AI Operations Lead

Description:

• Lead the Internal AI team at Zip, defining the central roadmap for AI adoption across non-product engineering teams.
• Collaborate with department heads to shape AI goals and run the AI Champion & Leader network.
• Build and operate Zip’s AI skills framework and co-own internal AI team tooling.
• Develop training and enablement strategies for continuous AI upskilling across the organization.
• Prototype solutions and drive AI experimentation within the company.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience leading cross-functional change in a high-growth software company.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools, building skills, agents, and workflows.
• Strong technical understanding of APIs, data flows, and ability to create proof-of-concepts.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to influence and partner with leadership.
• Problem solver comfortable in ambiguous situations, with experience running enablement programs.
