Remote Lead Data Scientist

Description:

• Lead Data Scientist role supporting VA health program initiatives through advanced analytics and machine learning.
• Responsible for designing algorithms for interoperability workflows and ensuring compliance with data governance standards.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or Statistics.
• 10+ years in data science or advanced analytics roles, with 5+ years in healthcare or federal health IT environments.
• Expertise in Agile environments, interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR), programming languages (Python, R), and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Proven experience with clinical informatics systems and data migration fidelity.
• Must be eligible for government clearance.
