Description:

Lead engineering at System Dynamics, overseeing architecture, infrastructure, and releases.
Act as a player-coach, hands-on in coding and infrastructure while developing the team.
Improve engineering practices including version control, automated testing, and CI.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a player-coach in engineering, with a track record of team development.
Ability to make final technical decisions and explain trade-offs.
Strong generalist skills in databases, Linux, networking, and application code.
Experience in production infrastructure ownership, including databases and DR.
Comfort with legacy codebases and ability to improve them while shipping.
Familiarity with Git, CI, automated tests, and code review processes.
Daily use of AI tools in coding and development processes.
Strong writing skills for documentation and standards.
