Remote Mainframe Datacom Database Engineer (Spanish Speaking Preferred)

Description:

• Seeking an experienced Mainframe Datacom Engineer to support and enhance banking applications in an IBM Z mainframe environment.
• Responsible for administration, support, optimization, and modernization of Broadcom Datacom databases.
• Collaborate with application development teams and stakeholders across Spain and Latin America; Spanish language skills preferred.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Broadcom Datacom databases and knowledge of Datacom architecture and performance tuning.
• Extensive experience in IBM z/OS environments and familiarity with JCL, TSO/ISPF, SDSF, CICS, and batch processing.
• Experience supporting COBOL applications and understanding of relational database concepts.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
