Description:

Join BHFT, a proprietary algorithmic trading firm, as a Market Data Engineer responsible for designing and maintaining the Market Data Platform.
Work on capturing, ingesting, storing, and modeling market data from various sources for research, backtesting, and real-time trading.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in building production-grade data systems and launching data lakes/lakehouses.
Hands-on experience with Apache Iceberg or similar table formats, and familiarity with market data protocols (ITCH, FIX/FAST).
Proficient in Python and SQL, with experience in modern orchestration (Airflow) and distributed processing (Apache Spark).
Strong fundamentals in Linux, containerization, cloud storage, and DevOps practices.
English fluency for documentation and collaboration.
