Remote MLOps/ ML Engineer

Description:

• Natural Negative is a materials science company optimizing biomaterials with AI, focusing on compostable formulations that can replace conventional plastics.
• The ML Engineer will own the cloud ML infrastructure, collaborating with the CTO and full-stack engineer to integrate ML capabilities into products and work with materials scientists.

Requirements:

• Proven production ML experience, including building and running ML systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python and production ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch), with experience in containerized deployment to GCP or similar platforms.
• Experience in building and managing ML/data pipelines in small teams with minimal infrastructure.
• Systems mindset with the ability to conceptualize entire pipelines.
• Genuine interest in materials science data and its applications.
