Remote NopCommerce .NET Developer

Description:

• RemoteVA PH is seeking a highly experienced NopCommerce .NET Developer to join their remote development team.
• The ideal candidate is a professional full-stack or backend developer with strong hands-on experience with the NopCommerce platform and a solid foundation in .NET technologies.
• Responsibilities include managing, maintaining, and enhancing multiple NopCommerce websites (currently 8 custom sites), handling backend programming, and supporting front-end development when needed.
• The position requires excellent technical expertise, independence, and accountability in managing end-to-end website operations.
• Key responsibilities include developing, customizing, and maintaining NopCommerce-based web applications, managing backend development and integration of new features, debugging and optimizing existing code for performance and security, overseeing deployment and hosting management through Microsoft Azure, utilizing GitHub for version control and collaborative code management, performing database administration and optimization using SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), using Visual Studio for coding, debugging, and testing, coordinating project progress and updates through Trello, and supporting and improving front-end UI when necessary (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience as a .NET Developer is required.
• Proven expertise in NopCommerce development, including custom modules, plugins, and theme customization, is essential.
• Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and Web API is necessary.
• Strong working knowledge of Visual Studio, GitHub, Azure, and SSMS is required.
• Experience in database design, T-SQL scripting, and Azure deployment workflows is needed.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JS) is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setup are required.
• Applicants must provide sample code files or sample projects personally developed for review and testing, as well as a GitHub profile showcasing actual .NET/NopCommerce projects.
