Description:

Peerspace is an online marketplace for venue rentals, facilitating over $500M in transactions.
The Senior Back-End Engineer will build and maintain scalable backend services primarily using Clojure, with some legacy support in Node.js.

Requirements:

5-8 years of software development experience, particularly in backend engineering.
Proficiency in Clojure and familiarity with Node.js, service-oriented architectures, RESTful API design, and cloud environments.
Strong analytical skills for debugging and optimizing backend systems.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and a growth mindset for learning new tools.
