Remote Senior Backend Developer/Engineer with German

Description:

• The position is for a Senior Backend Developer/Engineer at Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Slovakia, focusing on the IPLS-ROT application.
• The role involves continuous development and enhancement of an existing OSS system used for technical provisioning of VPN customer connections in an international telecom environment.
• Responsibilities include backend development, solution design, technical consulting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
• The candidate will implement changes across multiple functional topics and contribute to documentation and system understanding.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have strong software engineering experience in complex enterprise systems.
• Hands-on development experience is required in Java, Perl, PHP, SQL, and Apache Tomcat.
• Experience working in agile development environments is necessary.
• A solid understanding of OSS/BSS-integrated system landscapes is essential.
• The ability to analyze, design, and implement solutions within existing architectures is required.
• Proficiency in the German language is mandatory.
• Secondary education and at least 5 years of IT experience are required.
• Candidates should have expert knowledge of hardware/software, intermediate knowledge of core platforms, and financial literacy in the respective business area.
• Strong communication, teamwork, analytical thinking, presentation, training, mentoring, and negotiation skills are necessary.
• Upper intermediate English (B2) and German language skills (advantage) are required.
• Technical overview in OS, Network, Storage, Backup, Databases, Middleware, and Scripting is necessary.
• ITIL knowledge is also required.
