Description:

Join Pleo as a Senior Backend Engineer in the Data Serving team, responsible for building and maintaining APIs and low-latency serving layers for product data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and performance for internal and external consumers.

Requirements:

Strong backend engineering experience with reporting and analytics API services.
Expertise in designing performant read-heavy systems and relational database optimization.
Proficient in SQL, Kafka, and a JVM-based language (preferably Kotlin).
Experience with AWS or GCP and Kubernetes for containerized applications.
Ability to work independently and define solutions in a hands-on delivery role.
Experience in fintech or regulated environments is a plus.
