Description:

  • Join Instrumentl as a Senior Backend Engineer to develop AI features for grant discovery and application drafting.
  • Build APIs, tool-using agents, and RAG pipelines to support over 5,500 nonprofits.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in building production backend systems using Python (FastAPI, Celery).
  • Hands-on experience with LLM features, SQL, schema design, and data pipelines.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with high ownership.
  • Nice to have: TypeScript, AWS/GCP experience, and knowledge of orchestration frameworks.
