As a Senior Data Engineer, you will architect, build, and optimize scalable data platforms that provide clients with unified, actionable insights.
You will lead the design of robust data pipelines, enforce best practices in data governance and security, and mentor junior engineers.
Your role will bridge technical execution and strategic vision, ensuring high-performance, secure, and scalable data solutions that drive business impact.
Responsibilities include architecting and implementing enterprise-grade data platforms, defining data engineering standards, leading performance optimization, and staying updated with emerging trends.
You will design scalable data architecture, optimize database structures, implement CI/CD for data pipelines, and automate infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
You will also architect and develop end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines, monitor and optimize data pipeline performance, and implement data governance policies.
Collaboration with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications and developing interactive dashboards will be part of your duties.
You will lead technical discussions, mentor junior engineers, and drive automation of data workflows.

Requirements:

You must have 7+ years of experience in data engineering with a proven track record of building scalable data solutions.
Expertise in SQL and relational database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle is required.
Proficiency in Python or similar languages for data processing and automation is necessary.
A deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and cloud-native data services is essential.
Hands-on experience with big data tools like Apache Spark, Kafka, Airflow, dbt, Snowflake, and Databricks is required.
You should have expertise in data modeling and strong knowledge of data security, governance, and compliance frameworks.
Proven leadership in data projects, ability to lead cross-functional teams, and strong problem-solving skills are necessary.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are required.
Certifications in cloud/data technologies and experience with ML pipelines are considered a bonus.

The salary range for this position is $115,000 - $150,000.
