Description:

  • Join Jellyfish as a Senior Data Engineer to build, automate, and execute the next generation of the Jellyfish data platform.
  • Collaborate with the Lead Data Architect to implement core data models and optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Python, advanced SQL, and data transformation frameworks (e.g., dbt, PySpark).
  • Experience with enterprise data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery) and programmatic orchestrators (e.g., Prefect, Dagster, Airflow).
  • Strong automation mindset and collaborative skills, with a focus on writing readable code and thorough documentation.
  • Ability to solve pragmatic problems with a balance of optimization and simplicity.
