Remote Senior Data scientist

Description:

• Full-time position as a Senior Data Scientist, remote within the U.S.
• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and statistical models for forecasting customer cash flows and credit risk.
• Use experimentation and statistical methods to enhance product, pricing, and underwriting changes.
• Analyze large datasets to identify signals, engineer features, and uncover insights for model and product design.
• Prototype and ship model-driven features and data products for customer and stakeholder value.
• Research advanced deep learning architectures and implement innovations to improve underwriting algorithms.
• Monitor production models, investigate performance issues, and collaborate with engineering, product, and risk teams.

Requirements:

• Master of Science in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field with 3 years of experience as a Data Scientist.
• Experience in:
  • Building and optimizing deep learning models for forecasting and classification.
  • Designing and evaluating deep learning models for sequence and time series data.
  • Executing end-to-end machine learning projects, including data preprocessing and model deployment.
  • Machine learning, deep learning, optimization, and statistics.
  • Statistical and causal inference methods for estimating business impact.
  • Experimentation design and analysis, including A/B tests.
  • Large scale data processing using frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
