The engineering team is crucial in scaling the platform and ensuring ad tech products deliver measurable impact for advertisers and seamless experiences for travelers.
As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you will innovate advertising products by building and testing new ad experiences.
You will own the technology that delivers these features to travelers across the web, using Hopper's website as an innovation lab.
The role involves packaging successful innovations for B2B partners by developing user-facing ad products, contributing to the Javascript SDK, and building robust APIs.
The position requires a product-minded engineer who is passionate about creating seamless user experiences and is comfortable working across the full technology stack.

Requirements:

You must have 5+ years of experience in full-stack development, with a proven track record of building and shipping complex, user-facing web applications.
Expertise in a modern backend language (e.g., Python, Node.js, Go) and a modern front-end framework (e.g., React, Vue, Svelte) is required.
Deep proficiency in Javascript/TypeScript and a strong understanding of the web ecosystem, including browsers, performance, and security, is essential.
Strong experience in designing and building robust APIs is necessary.
A product-centric mindset with a passion for building delightful and impactful user experiences is expected.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment are required.
