Description:

  • As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you will innovate advertising products by building and testing new ad experiences.
  • You will own the technology that delivers these features to travelers across the web, using Hopper's website as an innovation lab.
  • The role involves packaging successful innovations for B2B partners by developing user-facing ad products, contributing to the Javascript SDK, and building robust APIs.
  • The position requires a product-minded engineer who is passionate about creating seamless user experiences and is comfortable working across the full technology stack.

Requirements:

  • You must have 5+ years of experience in full-stack development, with a proven track record of building and shipping complex, user-facing web applications.
  • Expertise in a modern backend language (e.g., Python, Node.js, Go) and a modern front-end framework (e.g., React, Vue, Svelte) is required.
  • Deep proficiency in Javascript/TypeScript and a strong understanding of the web ecosystem, including browsers, performance, and security, is essential.
  • Strong experience in designing and building robust APIs is necessary.
  • A product-centric mindset with a passion for building delightful and impactful user experiences is expected.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment are required.
