The Senior Software Engineer will lead and mentor engineers, delivering high-value products and scalable infrastructure.
The role involves setting technical direction, driving complex projects, and mentoring the engineering team to support Vanta's growth.
The GRC organization is responsible for developing and maintaining Vanta's core product offerings, focusing on enterprise customers and integrating security and compliance programs.
Responsibilities include leading complex projects, setting direction for technical areas, designing and developing new product functionality using modern frameworks (TypeScript, React, Node.js), and contributing to Vanta’s engineering culture.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 5 years of industry experience.
Experience in technical leadership roles for teams or complex projects is required.
Previous startup experience or work in an environment that prioritizes a bias for action is necessary.
Experience working on greenfield projects is essential.
An interest in learning about security or prior experience in the security space is preferred.
