Description:

  • Join the Personalization team to enhance music recommendations on Spotify.
  • Work on music recommendation models for key surfaces like Home and Now Playing.
  • Develop and iterate on candidate generation, ranking, and embedding models.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in machine learning, statistics, and optimization.
  • Experience in building production ML systems, preferably in personalization.
  • Proficiency in Java, Scala, Python; familiarity with PyTorch, Ray, or Hugging Face is a plus.
  • Experience with distributed data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Beam, Spark) and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS).
  • Ability to collaborate on complex ML projects with cross-functional teams.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range of $210,000 - $260,000 plus equity.
