Requirements:

• A BS/MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field is required.
• Candidates should have 5+ years of experience after obtaining their BS/MS degree.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals are necessary.
• Basic knowledge of training and evaluating ML models is required.
• Familiarity with deep learning concepts such as Transformers, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and mixture of experts (MoE) is essential.
• Proficiency in data/ML libraries such as pandas, transformers, and torch is needed.
• Hands-on experience in training ML systems from data curation to evaluation and deployment is required.
• Knowledge of state-of-the-art open-source models for various tasks, including retrieval and reranking, is necessary.
• The ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams is essential.
