Description:

Torc is a leader in autonomous driving technology, focused on developing software for automated trucks.
The team is responsible for enabling ML developers to build advanced autonomous vehicle solutions at scale.
The role involves building, maintaining, and improving Torc ML frameworks, including cloud tooling, data ops, ML development pipeline, and logging & aggregation.
Tools used include Terraform, AWS Managed Services, EKS, Ray, PyArrow, Daft, Pandas, Python, PyTorch, Lightning, and visualization tools like Tableau.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 6+ years of professional experience, or a Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience is required.
Experience building with Ray and a desire to promote its usage is essential.
Candidates should have experience with ML solutions that have reached production and be comfortable with the data science and ML lifecycle.
Familiarity with compute and data platforms and the ability to build scalable ML systems is necessary.
A commitment to building, maintaining, and improving the ML platform, along with mature software practices, is expected.
