Description:

  • WeightWatchers is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to build observability and incident response capabilities from the ground up.
  • The role involves designing logging, metrics, and tracing patterns to improve system health visibility and reduce manual processes.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in SRE, platform engineering, or similar infrastructure role.
  • Deep expertise in observability domains (metrics, logging, tracing, or APM).
  • Experience with agent configuration (New Relic, Datadog, OpenTelemetry).
  • Strong systems thinking and ability to make architectural decisions with incomplete information.
  • Preferred: AWS, containerized environments, Infrastructure-as-Code, Kafka, RDS, and open-source observability stacks.

Benefits:

  • Base salary range of $200,000 - $215,000 USD, depending on skills and experience.
