Remote Platform Engineer, Bare Metal

Description:

• Join Vultr as a Platform Engineer, Bare Metal to build and automate infrastructure for the bare metal cloud platform.
• Collaborate with Provisioning and Orchestration teams to achieve sub-60-second bare metal deployments and seamless hardware lifecycle operations.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in platform engineering, systems engineering, or infrastructure automation.
• Hands-on experience with bare metal server provisioning, IPMI/BMC, PXE boot, and firmware management.
• Strong Linux systems engineering skills and proficiency in PHP for backend service development.
• Familiarity with automated configuration management tools (Puppet, Ansible) and ability to debug hardware/software issues.
