Description:

  • Join Planet, a company that designs and operates the largest constellation of imaging satellites, to help change the way people see the world.
  • Work on Mission Control, a web-based application for spacecraft operators and analysts, to automate satellite operations and enhance user interaction with space assets.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or similar.
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience, including cloud-based infrastructure (AWS or GCP), Python programming, and relational databases (Postgres, MySQL).
  • Experience with infrastructure management tools (Ansible, Kubernetes, Terraform) and CI/CD workflows (GitLab CI, Docker).
  • Strong Linux skills and ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
