Remote Senior/Staff Software Engineer (Platform)

Description:

• Build the software backbone for autonomous manufacturing operations at an AI supply chain startup.
• Design scalable backend services, data pipelines, and integrations for AI-powered agents and transactions.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in backend services, data pipelines, or platform infrastructure.
• Strong CS fundamentals with experience in transactional systems and idempotent APIs.
• Experience with NLP/ML pipelines for data extraction from unstructured documents.
• Proficient in designing and scaling PostgreSQL schemas and complex queries.
• Experience with event-driven systems and message queues for state management.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and third-party APIs integration.
• Professional experience in manufacturing supply chain, procurement, or logistics.
• Familiarity with Next.js API routes or serverless architectures is a plus.
• Experience with managed PostgreSQL platforms and productionizing LLM-based agents is a plus.

Benefits:

• Salary range: $160,000 to $250,000 USD annually, with equity included.
