Requirements:

• Candidates must have deep, hands-on, expert knowledge of PostgreSQL and its tools.
• Proficiency in the PostgreSQL ecosystem, including tools like pgvector, repmgr, and pgBouncer, is required.
• Experience in performance tuning, server configuration, query optimization, and table/index tuning is necessary.
• Familiarity with backup solutions and best practices, such as pg base backup and Point-in-Time-Recovery, is essential.
• Candidates should have experience with high availability solutions, including replication and proxies.
• Demonstrable experience in administering Linux systems is required.
• Experience with containerization and Kubernetes, including deployment and troubleshooting, is necessary.
• Candidates must be able to troubleshoot methodically and think creatively to resolve complex issues.
• Self-directed learning and enthusiasm for new technologies are essential.
• Availability for international travel for team meetings and customer visits is required.
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written, is necessary for effective communication with customers.
