Remote Senior Security Engineer (Edge & Cloud)

Description:

• Derq is an MIT spinoff focused on AI-powered traffic safety and smart infrastructure.
• Seeking a hands-on Senior Security Engineer to secure the end-to-end platform, including edge devices and cloud infrastructure.

Requirements:

• 6 to 8+ years in security engineering, application security, cloud security, or infrastructure security.
• Strong knowledge of Linux security, web application security (OWASP Top 10), and cloud security (preferably AWS).
• Experience with CI/CD security, vulnerability scanning, and incident response.
• Scripting or automation skills (Python or Bash).
• Experience with compliance frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, and familiarity with IoT or data-heavy platforms is a plus.
• Open to relocation to UAE after probation, subject to immigration approval.
