Remote Senior Software Engineer - Backend

• As a Senior Software Engineer on the Intelligence & Integrations team, you will work on core systems that process real-time data from hardware devices.
• Your role will involve enhancing data pipelines and building integrations with customers' Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• You will be responsible for turning raw data into actionable insights, directly impacting healthcare outcomes and quality of life.
• Key responsibilities include evolving core data models and APIs, driving technical excellence, leading customer integrations, and mentoring other engineers.

Requirements:

• You must have 5+ years of experience in backend or full-stack development, with a strong background in building scalable, cloud-native applications.
• Deep expertise with AWS infrastructure, including serverless technologies (Lambda, Fargate), message queues (SQS/SNS), and data services (Kinesis, DynamoDB, RDS) is required.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js is necessary, and experience with React is a plus.
• You should have experience with both relational databases like PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases like DynamoDB.
• A strong understanding of data modeling principles and their application in building scalable and performant APIs is essential.
• You must excel at breaking down complex problems into actionable steps and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills are required to collaborate effectively with product, data science, and engineering teams.
• You should be adaptable to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment.
• Start-up experience is considered a plus.

Benefits:

• The annual salary for this role ranges from $150,000 to $180,000, plus equity and benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
