As a Senior Software Engineer on the Intelligence & Integrations team, you will work on core systems that process real-time data from hardware devices.
Your role will involve enhancing data pipelines and building integrations with customers' Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
You will be responsible for turning raw data into actionable insights, directly impacting healthcare outcomes and quality of life.
Key responsibilities include evolving core data models and APIs, driving technical excellence, leading customer integrations, and mentoring other engineers.
Requirements:
You must have 5+ years of experience in backend or full-stack development, with a strong background in building scalable, cloud-native applications.
Deep expertise with AWS infrastructure, including serverless technologies (Lambda, Fargate), message queues (SQS/SNS), and data services (Kinesis, DynamoDB, RDS) is required.
Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js is necessary, and experience with React is a plus.
You should have experience with both relational databases like PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases like DynamoDB.
A strong understanding of data modeling principles and their application in building scalable and performant APIs is essential.
You must excel at breaking down complex problems into actionable steps and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills are required to collaborate effectively with product, data science, and engineering teams.
You should be adaptable to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment.
Start-up experience is considered a plus.
Benefits:
The annual salary for this role ranges from $150,000 to $180,000, plus equity and benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
The position offers flexible PTO.
This role is remote, available to candidates in the US or Canada.
