Description:

CyberArk is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Secrets Hub group and contribute to a new R&D team collaborating closely with HQ in Israel.
Secrets Hub is a cloud-native, multi-cloud SaaS product that centralizes secrets management across AWS, Azure, GCP, and HashiCorp Vault, used by large enterprises to secure critical workloads in modern DevOps environments.
As a core team member, you will design, implement, and maintain high-quality services for the Secrets Hub platform.
You will work with AWS serverless technologies, write clean and efficient Python code, and collaborate with stakeholders from product, UX, security, and engineering teams in Israel.
Responsibilities include designing and maintaining scalable and secure services, collaborating on technical design and system architecture, contributing to code reviews and CI/CD best practices, and participating in troubleshooting production issues.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or alumni from an elite military tech unit is required.
A minimum of 5 years of hands-on software development experience, including at least 2 years building production systems in Python or a comparable modern language is necessary.
A solid understanding of software design principles and cloud-native development patterns is essential.
Experience in building secure, reliable services in a SaaS or multi-tenant environment is required.
Proven ability to take ownership of features from design to production is necessary.
Familiarity with AWS core services and serverless architecture (such as Lambda, DynamoDB, Step Functions) is required.
Strong communication and collaboration skills in English are essential.
Experience working in a product company and collaborating with remote R&D teams is a plus.
Frontend development experience (React, PrimeReact, TypeScript) is advantageous.
Experience with database design and performance (Aurora RDS, DynamoDB) is beneficial.
Familiarity with secrets management, identity, or cloud security domains is a plus.
A background in event-driven or microservice architectures is advantageous.
Hands-on experience with multi-cloud environments (GCP, Azure) is beneficial.
