Description:

• Serve as a senior technical-policy advisor on frontier AI safety and governance issues.
• Act as a connector between National Security Policy and internal teams.
• Drive engagement with national AI institutes and technical governance bodies.
• Develop proactive policy strategies for responsible national security adoption of AI.
• Represent OpenAI with integrity in engagements with policymakers and stakeholders.
• Translate technical realities into clear policy products.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in AI policy, safety, or technical governance.
• Established credibility in AI safety or governance fields.
• Familiarity with frontier AI risk management issues.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders on sensitive policy issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sound judgment and integrity in high-trust settings.
• Strong strategic thinking and project management skills.
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams.
