Description:

• Affirm is seeking a Software Engineer II for the Furnishing Platform team to build scalable systems and data pipelines for consumer credit reporting.
• The role involves collaborating with Product, Compliance, Servicing, and Credit teams to design robust reporting systems essential for accurate data delivery to Consumer Reporting Agencies.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1.5 years of experience as a software engineer.
• Proficient in backend system design and development, with expertise in Python or Kotlin.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and technologies such as AWS, MySQL, and Spark.
• Ability to write clear, well-tested, and extensible code, and navigate large codebases.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with a global engineering team.
