Description:

• Seeking a talented Rust engineer to develop the Midnight Indexer, a service that streams blockchain data via a high-performance GraphQL API.
• Responsibilities include designing and operating components, building data pipelines, and evolving the GraphQL API while ensuring reliability and performance.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Rust, including async/await and concurrency.
• Experience in backend/data-systems, particularly with high-performance services or data pipelines.
• Practical knowledge of PostgreSQL and/or SQLite, including schema design and query optimization.
• Familiarity with API design, preferably GraphQL.
• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with rigorous testing, code reviews, and remote collaboration.
• At least 3 years of software development experience, with 2 years in Rust.
