Description:

Join a small, autonomous team at Vevo to build features for managing music video data.
Collaborate with engineers, stakeholders, and product managers to create scalable services and applications.

Requirements:

5+ years of software development experience.
BS/MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
Proficient in Java, Kotlin, SQL; MyBatis is a plus.
Experience with scalable distributed architectures using Apache Kafka & Kafka Streams.
Skilled in designing and building REST APIs.
Familiar with NoSQL and RDBs.
Experience with cloud hosting and Kubernetes in AWS.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, ArgoCD.
Ability to debug and support users in these systems.
Extra credit for modern web technologies (Node.js, React, GraphQL).
Experience with behavior-driven integration testing (Kotest, JUnit).
