Description:

Design and guide the implementation of complex payment systems for customers using Modern Treasury’s APIs.
Collaborate with Sales Engineers and Technical Account Managers to understand customers’ technical, financial, and operational needs.
Produce detailed architecture and design documents, and guide customer development teams through implementation.
Own ledger design, ensuring accurate tracking, reconciliation, and representation of funds.
Act as a trusted advisor during critical build phases and debug complex issues with financial impact.
Partner with Engineering and Product teams to shape solutions and influence the product roadmap.

Requirements:

3+ years in customer-facing technical roles such as Solutions Architect or Solutions Engineer.
Strong experience with REST APIs and system design.
Comfortable debugging issues across integrations and production systems.
Ability to lead technical discovery, architecture discussions, and manage technical stakeholders.
Experience using AI agents in a work environment.
Experience writing code or building applications is a plus.
Background in fintech, payments, or financial systems is a plus.
Familiarity with ledgering, reconciliation, or accounting concepts is a plus.
