The Solutions Engineer role involves owning the API layer, working closely with Sales, Implementation, and Support to ensure successful API and web app integrations.

Requirements:

3+ years in a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or similar pre-sales role in B2B SaaS.
Familiarity with APIs and integrations; able to scope integration requirements and communicate with technical stakeholders.
Experience in scoping or reviewing statements of work (SOW) with clients.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; customer-facing experience required.
Ability to operate with ambiguity and shape the role as it develops.
Customer-retention focused, viewing API customers as relationships to nurture.
Self-starter with the ability to bring structure to undefined roles.
Strong cross-functional communication skills with clients, sales, and engineers.
