The role involves designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure and processes necessary for the collection, storage, and analysis of large datasets.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing data pipelines, developing and maintaining data models, writing and maintaining ETL jobs, collaborating with ML engineers and data analysts, and monitoring and optimizing data pipelines for quality and performance.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field is required.
Candidates should have 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or a similar language are necessary.
Experience with SQL and data modeling concepts is required.
Familiarity with cloud-based data warehousing solutions such as Redshift, BigQuery, or similar is essential.
Experience with ETL tools such as Spark, Flink, Databricks, or Snowflake is needed.
Knowledge of messaging systems like RabbitMQ or Kafka is required.
Understanding of cloud infrastructure and how various data pipeline components fit together is necessary.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are essential.
Candidates must be based in time zones between GMT-3 and GMT+2.
