Description:

  • Karius is a clinical metagenomics company focused on improving patient care through microbial insights and advanced diagnostic technology.
  • The Sr. Software Engineer will develop and maintain a software stack for cloud infrastructure, APIs, and AI-driven analytics to enhance diagnostics for infectious diseases.

Requirements:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience with full-stack solutions.
  • Advanced knowledge of TypeScript and Node.js, with experience in microservices and event-streaming platforms like Kafka.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, cloud technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS), and testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress).
  • Strong communication skills and commitment to engineering quality.
