Remote Sr Staff AI Software Development Engineer

Description:

• Seeking an experienced technical leader to drive AI Recommender System engineering.
• Responsible for the recommender panel and related functions within cloud-based ESD tools.
• Define processes, set technical direction, and build upon an existing small team.

Requirements:

• 8-10 years in production-grade software systems with AI/ML components and management experience.
• PhD or Masters in AI/ML or adjacent field.
• Proven ability to establish AI engineering practices in organizations without core AI/ML expertise.
• Self-directed, comfortable with ambiguity, and capable of building structure from the ground up.
• AI/ML technical expertise in fine-tuning LLMs, MLOps, PyTorch, and vector databases.
• Experience with cloud software infrastructure (AWS/Azure, Databricks, etc.).
• Strong communication skills to explain complex ML concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
