Description:

  • Join Skillshare as a Staff Backend Engineer to shape backend architecture and domain models, focusing on TypeScript/NestJS services and event-driven systems.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to turn product needs into well-designed systems, while utilizing AI coding tools to enhance development.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in backend systems with deep TypeScript and Node.js expertise.
  • Strong knowledge of Domain-Driven Design, GraphQL API design, event-driven systems, and relational data modeling.
  • Proficiency with AI coding tools and ability to communicate technical decisions effectively.
  • Must maintain working-hour overlap with the US-based team until at least 1:00 PM Eastern.
