Description:

  • Define the technical foundation for AI governance at enterprise scale within GitLab.
  • Shape backend architecture for auditable AI actions, policy enforcement, and enterprise reporting.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in designing and operating backend systems requiring auditability and compliance.
  • Proficient in Ruby on Rails and Python, with experience in REST and GraphQL APIs.
  • Knowledge of authorization patterns (RBAC, ABAC) and familiarity with high-scale data systems (Postgres, ClickHouse).
  • Proven ability to guide cross-team technical efforts and communicate decisions effectively.
