Meeru AI is developing an AI-native platform for finance and accounting teams, integrating with various enterprise financial systems.
The Staff Data Engineer will build and manage data pipelines, connectors, and models that support the platform's analytics and AI functionalities.

Requirements:

7+ years of experience in data engineering with ownership of complex production pipelines.
Expertise in SQL and data modeling, with experience in cloud warehouses like Snowflake or BigQuery.
Proficient in dbt, with experience in production projects and incremental models.
Experience with production orchestration tools like Airflow or Dagster.
Knowledge of warehouse internals and performance tuning.
Strong Python skills for writing maintainable pipeline code and tests.
Experience integrating messy source systems with inconsistent data.
Ability to collaborate and mentor other engineers, establishing data contracts with teams.
